Fire protection - Documentation preparation
Evacuation calculation
During an evacuation calculation, experts determine how long it would take to safely evacuate occupants from a building in the event of a fire. This takes into account the building layout, the number and location of emergency exits, and the number and distribution of people inside. The calculation models possible escape routes and expected movement speeds. The goal is to ensure that everyone can exit the building in time, minimizing the risk of injury or danger. Based on the results, recommendations may be made to modify escape routes or emergency exits to enhance safety.
